The requirements for submission set by the SCDF are somewhat lengthy, but we\u2019re here to list out all of the necessary steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Hire A Qualified Person (QP)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>First, you must approach a Qualified Person, or QP, to submit the application on your behalf. Under the fire safety and shelter regulations, your QP must be a registered architect, or a civil, mechanical, structural, or electrical engineer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\">2. Minor Addition And Alteration Works <strong>Application&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After you acquire the service of a QP, they must fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.corenet-ess.gov.sg\/ess\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CORENET e-submission<\/a> before work can commence.
