We recommend a pressure of 100PSI! The most common type of fire sprinkler system is a wet pipe system, where water is released through the pipes right on command. However in colder climates or buildings, a dry pipe system is used instead &#8211; these pipes are filled with gas first to hold the water system back. These pipes are similar to PVC pipes, but are stronger and more heat-resistant than them. The sprinkler system is carefully mapped with these pipes, using only pipe cement to secure them in place. These pipes are then attached to the ceiling or walls with galvanised pipe straps.<br><\/li><li>Once the sprinkler heads are installed, protective cages are set in place to prevent external damage or accidents. It should be noted that installation needs to avoid any electrical wiring and, and exposed piping might have to be covered in proper insulation.<br><\/li><li>Once everything is installed in place, the PEs in charge will pressurise the system and perform a leak test to check for flaws.
