Project Requirements
The NCS Bedok L1 DC 18 project involves adding and altering the space to establish a new DC room capable of housing 42 server racks, each with a 4kW capacity. This includes installing a dedicated cooling system, converting the existing wet sprinkler system to a Novec 1230 fire suppression system, and designing and implementing the necessary electrical infrastructure for the server racks. Project management for M&E and builder works, along with Building Plan and M&E services authority submissions, are also required.

End Result
The addition and alteration works at the NCS Bedok L1 DC 18 were successfully completed. The project delivered a new, fully operational DC room. Effective project management ensured the timely execution of all construction and installation activities, along with the successful acquisition of all required Building Plan and M&E services approvals. The resulting facility is ready to support its intended high-density computing environment.
